Considering the number of participants and the visitors, MEDICALL 2006 the unique hospital needs expo, held at Chennai on Aug 4th, 5th & 6th 2006, was grand success. There were more than100 exhibitors and 4000 visitors.

The visitors came from all over the country. The visitors mainly consisted of hospital owners and doctors who were planning for future projects. Hence business worth more than 5 cores was finalized in the expo itself and many leads are being followed by the exhibitors.

Many specialists visited the expo to make other purchase for their hospitals like Furniture’s, OT/ ICU equipments, software etc. Hence there was more specialists’ participation in MEDCALL than specialty conferences.
Many times the specialist who visits the conferences is not the decision makers. Hence be there where decision makers are there.

Specialty conferences are organized for academic interactions and knowledge up gradation. The visitors to these conferences spend little time in the stalls as they are busy with the academic activities. Hence Exhibitors felt that doctors spent more time in the stalls at MEDICALL.
