Minister, Minister of Finance J.Kuchkarov organized a visit to study the
experience of developing the banking and financial sector in Singapore,
improve the credit rating of the banks of Uzbekistan and establish
partnerships between government and commercial financial institutions
of the two countries.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance J.Kuchkarov
met with Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister
of Finance Heng Swee Keat, and presented information on the ongoing
large-scale reforms to create favorable conditions for foreign investors in
Uzbekistan and invite to visit Uzbekistan in 2019 (see opp. pg. pictures 4 & 5)
